Questions
Can I play for free?
Yes. Free leaderboards need no money. They run on the same rules as paid ones, with a small points prize, so you learn how a round pays before you spend anything. Sign in to keep the points you win.
How does a paid leaderboard pay?
Every try grows the prize. Once 3 players and 3 tries are in, the round pays 10 minutes after the last run ends. The more tries a round has, the more of the prize it pays, up to all of it. Winners get GMYLD in their wallet automatically. There is nothing to claim.
What does a try cost?
1% of the prize on the board, never less than 1% of the launcher's money. A $20 prize means a 20 cent try. The price is on the Play button. Packs of 5 or 10 lock that price for every try in the pack.
Where does my money go?
Of every try, 3% goes to GMYLD, the launcher's fee (0% to 30%, shown on the board) goes to the launcher, and the rest goes into the prize. Dollar amounts are live estimates. The GMYLD amount the board shows is what a winner gets.
Who gets paid?
The launcher picks how many players get paid, from 10% to 50% of the round, and whether places are paid equally or 1st gets the most. Every paid place gets at least 2 tries' worth, and a payout smaller than that goes to 1st. Two identical results: the earlier one wins. Everyone else who cleared gets points.
What does Add 1 hour do?
Once a round is counting down, anyone can push its payout back an hour. All of that money goes into the round's payout for the paid places. It is not a try and buys no place. The first hour costs 10% of what the round would pay now, and each next one that round costs double.
Do I need a crypto wallet?
Not for free play. To play for money, sign in with a Solana wallet like Phantom, Solflare or Backpack. Signing in sends no transaction and costs nothing.
Can results be faked?
The game's server runs the clock, checks every run and signs each result once. Nobody can type a result in, GMYLD included. Every run is kept for a set time so it can be replayed and checked again.
What are points for?
Points are one balance across every GMYLD game. You win them on free boards and by clearing outside the paid places. You can't buy them or send them. They buy titles, frames, game items and one free try a week in the shop.
Can I start my own leaderboard?
Yes. Put up $20 to $500 as the first prize, then pick your fee, how many players get paid and the split. You earn your fee on every try for as long as the board runs. A board can never be stopped or ended, by you or anyone.
Who can play for money?
People 18 or over, or the legal age where they live if that is higher. Paid play and launching are closed in some countries, and the site tells you before you pay. Free play is open everywhere.
Can I set a spending limit or take a break?
Yes, in your account. A daily limit works on every GMYLD game. Lowering it works at once, raising it takes 24 hours. A break from paid play lasts 1 day to a year and can't be shortened.
What do you keep about me?
Your wallet address, the name and email you choose to add, your language, when you confirmed your age, and your runs with their replays for a set time. To keep paid play fair we also keep, for 90 days, the internet address, place, network and device you sign in, play and pay from; after that only a scrambled code of them stays, so one person can't play as many. We count pages visited without following you. If you accept cookies, we also keep clicks and recordings of some visits (typed text hidden) for 30 days to fix problems. GMYLD is in the EU. Ask hello@gmyld.com to see or delete your data.
